Systems Analyst - Mission Voice Communications (Missile Defense Testing): Supporting the Mission Voice Communications system for Missile Defense Agency flight test events through requirements management, systems engineering, testing, validation, and technical documentation with an accent on acquisition, integration, configuration, and sustainment. Focus on translating operational needs into system requirements, evaluating system performance, managing technical risks, and preparing analytical reports and recommendations.
Location: Huntsville, Alabama, at Redstone Arsenal and the Von Braun Complex

What you will do
- Support the Mission Voice Communications Asset Manager and voice communications systems used during Missile Defense Agency flight test events.
- Translate operational needs into program documentation and gather requirements for functional system configuration and design.
- Develop systems engineering procedures, manage requirements and configurations, track metrics, and support risk management and technical reviews.
- Conduct system reviews and system-level tests to verify subsystem and system performance against approved specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation, briefings, management reports, presentations, and recommendations.
- Support acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, deployment, fielding, installation, and operational oversight of IT and software systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or five years of experience in lieu of the degree.
- No direct experience is required.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain at least a Secret security clearance.
- Ability to perform analytical tasks and support complex developmental and operational test programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizations and prepare technical and government documentation.
- Proficiency with Windows-based software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with technical writing, government reporting, and Congressional or GAO test inquiries.
- Experience supporting systems planning, monitoring, acquisition, implementation, validation, and verification.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with changing schedules, deadlines, and competing priorities.
