Business Systems Analyst II

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

What you will do

• Lead process improvement across assigned transformation workstreams.
• Interview stakeholders, research current workflows, and identify systematic gaps.
• Analyze business issues and opportunities using SQL and other methods, then provide actionable recommendations.
• Create process documentation and process maps, identify breakdowns, and redesign workflows for greater efficiency.
• Train internal users, external technical teams, and leaders on dashboards, APIs, and tools, including troubleshooting support.
• Improve data capture, define front-end requirements, and collaborate with software developers on table structures and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and at least four years of applicable experience.
• Experience with change management under EIA-649, nonconformance documentation, root cause analysis, corrective action systems, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with cost analysis, supplier management, and configuration management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet U.S. Government space technology export authorization requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace or other high-reliability industries.
• PLM and ERP software proficiency.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 quality management systems and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience handling multiple high-priority tasks in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder analysis, facilitation, and consultative skills.
