Test Technician (HVACR)

Location: Chihuahua, Mexico; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Support production lines with test-equipment issues and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and testing systems.
• Install new equipment and relocate existing equipment when required.
• Maintain work areas according to 5S practices and participate in JIT activities.
• Inspect test equipment, diagnose failures, and repair equipment quickly while meeting quality and safety requirements.
• Use appropriate tools and follow applicable safety policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

• Completed technical degree in Electronics or Electromechanics.
• Basic programming knowledge in C and BASIC.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical diagrams.
• Knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Basic knowledge of machine-vision systems for printed circuit board inspection.
• Knowledge of functional test equipment, including FVT systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of KANBAN, JIT, 5S, Poka-Yoke, and SMED.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout safety procedures and equipment failure analysis.
• Experience diagnosing failures in electronic boards.
• Ability to use multimeters and oscilloscopes for diagnostics.
