Engineer Intern - Summer 2027 (Civil Construction)

Location: Hyrum, Utah, United States; travel to project locations and regional offices is required. The role involves working in a construction site environment with physical activity and exposure to high noise levels.

What you will do

• Support highway heavy civil construction projects, project management, or estimating.
• Assist with document control, submittals, and monthly billing.
• Support field operations and safety or environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with project, safety, and field operations personnel.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Current college junior or senior status.
• Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, written, verbal, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to recognize discrepancies, work under schedule constraints, and remain self-motivated.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project locations and regional offices.

• Experience working on civil or other construction sites.
