Senior Product Development Engineer (Adhesives)

Location: On-site in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States; at least four days per week at the hirify.global Center. Travel may be required up to 20%. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Compensation: $124,127–$151,710 per year, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead product development for new pressure-sensitive adhesive technologies.
• Provide technical leadership for Class 4/5 product development deliverables and lead Class 3 new product introduction projects.
• Implement PSA technologies for thin bonding applications.
• Identify customer-relevant performance differentiators and develop robust, scalable solutions.
• Advance the PSA platform to support new product growth and create a pipeline of opportunities through inventions and cross-company collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least three years of product development-related new product commercialization experience.
• Experience may come from private, public, government, or military environments.
• Experience measuring the performance of PSA tapes and adhesives.
• Working knowledge of adhesive formulation and scale-up, with the ability to implement new technologies.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry.
• Five years of new product development and commercialization experience.
• Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into solutions.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and advancing products through a stage-gate commercialization process.
• Strong time and project management skills.
