Lead Technical Program Manager - 892 (Quantum Computing)

Location: Hybrid in Broomfield, Colorado or Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; employees are expected to work at their assigned location, with remote work possible up to 2 days per week with approval. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Salary: $164,000–$205,000 annually, inclusive of bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead schedules, budgets, resource plans, and work plans for complex hardware R&D programs.
• Coordinate multiple technical and operational teams.
• Run status meetings, project reviews, and end-of-task retrospectives.
• Communicate strategy, scope changes, risks, and progress through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate schedules and develop required technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of technical program management experience.
• Direct experience supporting or executing federal programs with reporting metrics, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, or worker granted asylum or refugee status.
• Due to U.S. national security requirements, candidates must not be nationals of China or Russia unless they are also U.S. citizens.
• Strong skills in schedule, budget, resource, risk, and opportunity management for technical programs.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a STEM field and PMP certification.
• Experience in quantum computing, optics and photonics, experimental physics, or product development.
• Experience guiding early-stage, first-of-its-kind technologies from R&D and prototyping through the full lifecycle.
