Technical Consultant (Healthcare Software)

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States; full-time onsite role with up to 20% travel and occasional extended or irregular hours to support clients across multiple time zones.

What you will do

• Implement technically focused solutions for multiple electronic health record (EHR) software products.
• Design and develop forms, reports, interfaces, and related system components.
• Consult with clients on solution designs and translate business requirements between systems.
• Configure technical solutions, support data transfer testing, and validate data during client rollouts.
• Lead client and third-party vendor calls to drive data mapping activities.
• Collaborate with engineering on logging, monitoring, alerting, analytics, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related field; equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare information technology, systems implementation, consulting, or systems management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and design or programming issue resolution skills.
• Experience with EHRs, HL7-based interfaces, BPMN tools, SQL, PostgreSQL, JIRA, Confluence, and database structures is preferred.
