Product Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Manila, Philippines. Full-time onsite position requiring satisfactory proof of the right to work in the Philippines.

What you will do

• Develop, integrate, debug, and execute ATE test and characterization programs for chip IP features.
• Create characterization plans and test circuits using FPGA fabric and embedded IP.
• Run wafer-level ATE, package-level ATE, and bench testing across process, temperature, and voltage conditions.
• Design ATE and bench hardware and develop automation and data-collection scripts.
• Apply statistical analysis to define datasheet parameters and report characterization results.
• Investigate product marginalities, test yield, and test time while coordinating root-cause resolution and sample delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of individual-contributor experience in Product Engineering or silicon validation and characterization.
• BS degree in ECE, CoE, EE, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices, test methodologies, and the full backend IC process, including WAT/etest, wafer sort, package assembly, and final test.
• Required experience developing, integrating, and debugging ATE test programs on Nextest Magnum and Advantest T2K.
• Experience with bench-board hardware development, IC validation, characterization tools, statistical process control, and yield analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills and the right to work in the Philippines are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with programmable logic, RTL design, and design verification.
• Knowledge of DFT methodologies, including scan and BIST, fault grading, and hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
