Technician IV (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, inspect, and repair facilities equipment to minimize downtime and operating costs.
• Identify and report conditions or incidents that may affect reliable and efficient facilities operations.
• Respond to production concerns involving facilities and the building, resolving issues and deploying technicians or manpower when needed.
• Monitor contractor activities for compliance with safety policies and quality standards.
• Act as shift-in-charge when a designated shift supervisor is absent and prepare incident reports.
• Coordinate with production on projects, unplanned shutdowns, and emergencies, while proposing improvements that reduce costs, eliminate hazards, and extend equipment life.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts, standards, safety procedures, diagrams, testers, tools, and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
• Knowledge of compressed dry air, air-conditioning, process vacuum, UPS, generator or emergency power, and high-voltage systems.
• Ability to lead small-group activities, prepare documentation and reports, and validate technician records.
• College-level engineering education or a technical/vocational background in mechanical, electrical, or electronics technology; computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
