What you will do
- Set up, start, operate, and adjust machine shop equipment.
- Produce high-quality metal parts while maintaining machine performance and production capacity.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform required maintenance.
- Perform quality control, reporting, and recordkeeping, and escalate problems to the supervisor.
- Clean machinery and maintain an organized, safe work area.
- Follow health, safety, environmental, energy, and quality management requirements.
Requirements
- English proficiency is required for speaking, reading, writing, and understanding workplace policies, procedures, training materials, and communications.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, judgment, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, teamwork, and customer-focus skills.
