TL;DR

Production Intern (Manufacturing): Supporting production tracking, KPI updates, efficiency analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives with an accent on OEE, waste reduction, quality, and standardized work. Focus on analyzing cycle times and downtime, improving work instructions, and balancing production lines through time-and-motion analysis.

Location: Queretaro, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

Track daily production progress, cycle times, downtime, and compliance with the production plan.
Update KPIs and analyze OEE, scrap, rework, and productivity data.
Support Kaizen and continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and quality improvement.
Create and update work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Support line balancing and time-and-motion analysis to improve task distribution.

Requirements

Current student in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field.
Knowledge of standard office tools.
Knowledge of lean tools and 5S.
