Field Operator (Oil and Gas)

What you will do

• Operate production wells and facilities safely while following regulatory requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain and operate submersible pumps, manifold separators, tank batteries, and other production and rotating equipment.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures and assist with repairs and maintenance of production equipment.
• Test wells, collect production readings, coordinate with area operators, and record information in the Prodnet database.
• Identify and report safety hazards and support hot work and confined space permitting activities.
• Cover vacations and perform additional operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience operating in the oil and gas industry.
• Operational knowledge of centrifugal pumps, three-phase separation, process flow, and pneumatic and electrical controls.
• Ability to work with pressures ranging from 0 to 2,200 psi.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Safety-focused, self-motivated approach and willingness to work flexible hours when needed.

Nice to have

• Enhanced Oil Recovery experience.
• Previous lockout/tagout training.
• Previous H2S training.
