What you will do
- Design and oversee completion, workover, production facilities installation and repair, and well plugging and abandonment projects.
- Monitor and analyze daily oil, water, and gas production rates, pressures, and temperatures to optimize production and operating profits.
- Plan and size flowline heaters, separators, storage and disposal systems, metering, dehydration facilities, gas compression, and flowlines.
- Select and size artificial lift systems, including rod pumps, gas lift, electric submersible pumps, plunger lift, foaming, and progressive cavity pumps.
- Plan and interpret open-hole and cased-hole logging, perforating, cementing, acidizing, and fracture stimulation operations.
- Prepare or oversee project procedures, AFE cost estimates, and economic analyses while coordinating with partners, service providers, and field personnel.
Requirements
- Four years of oil and gas production field operations experience.
- At least three years of experience as an engineer for an oil and gas operating company.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, electrical, or petroleum engineering from an accredited four-year university or college.
- Strong ability to interpret production data, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong team leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
