Service Desk Analyst (Contractor)

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 telephone and technical support for computers, mobile devices, printers, and other office technology.
• Troubleshoot and resolve routine hardware, software, and service problems using established procedures.
• Escalate service requests with complete documentation and troubleshooting details.
• Identify service trends and gaps, recommend preventive procedures, and maintain relevant knowledge articles.
• Support special technology projects, including operating system migration initiatives.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of IT experience, including technology service and support leadership or equivalent training and experience.
• Working knowledge of basic to moderately complex hardware and software products.
• Experience with service management systems, remote support tools, Active Directory, Windows, Macintosh operating systems, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, and cloud applications.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, interpersonal, judgment, and mathematical skills.
• ITIL Foundation certification is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• A+, Network+, MSDT, or equivalent certification or demonstrated professional experience.
• Associate’s degree in computer science or a bachelor’s degree focused on business administration or information technology.
