L2 Systems Analyst

What you will do

• Provide Level 2 technical support for enterprise systems, applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Investigate escalated incidents, diagnose complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and document findings.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to maintain reliable operations.
• Maintain Windows and Linux servers, identity services, access permissions, patching, upgrades, and change management.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, vendors, and third-party providers to resolve issues.
• Create technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles, and participate in on-call incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, and virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITSM frameworks; ITIL knowledge is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• PowerShell or Bash scripting experience.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios.
• ITIL Foundation, Microsoft, CompTIA, or VMware certifications.
