International Talent Programme (ITP) 2026 - Business Banking (Fintech)

Location: Sydney, Australia. Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents at the time of application. The programme is scheduled to commence in late October 2026.

What you will do

• Complete three 18-month programme rotations across business banking teams.
• Support clients, analyse business opportunities and contribute to customer outcomes.
• Build experience in relationship management, lending, credit, products, risk, strategy and specialised industry sectors.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives supporting ING’s growth ambitions.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, lending specialists, product experts and senior leaders.
• Participate in structured learning, mentoring and coaching, with the opportunity for an international assignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed within the last two years in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law or a related discipline.
• Strong academic results and up to two years of professional work experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset, initiative, curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Strong commercial acumen and interest in how businesses operate and grow.
• Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency is required at the time of application.

• Internships, university projects, leadership activities, volunteering or extracurricular achievements demonstrating commercial thinking and relationship-building skills.
