Financial Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends, variances, and decision-making insights.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, variance analyses, and performance summaries.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles by gathering stakeholder input and validating assumptions.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts and explain variances to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial models for business planning, scenario analysis, and investment decisions.
• Collect, organise, and validate financial data from multiple sources.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• CA/CPA accreditation or progress toward accreditation.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar corporate role.
• Strong business analysis skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Experience with Power BI and Excel, including Power Query, DAX, and complex multi-sheet workbooks.
• Experience using AI tools to improve processes, automate routine tasks, and enhance accuracy and business outcomes.
