Terminal Operator

Location: North Bend, Ohio, United States; work may also cover other nearby locations. The role may involve shift work, call-outs, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain truck loading racks and other terminal equipment.
• Sample and perform laboratory testing of petroleum products.
• Gauge storage tanks and support terminal operating activities.
• Support the shipment and receipt of petroleum products via pipeline, barge, and ship.
• Prepare terminal reports and maintain accurate operating records.
• Work outdoors, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds independently or up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and document and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to learn mechanical and electrical systems.
• Must obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC); company funding is provided.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or vocational technical training.
• Previous process operations, maintenance crafts, or petroleum industry experience.
