Lab Support Engineer (Electro-Mechanical)

What you will do

• Maintain engineering lab spaces, environmental chambers, and related equipment.
• Keep tools, samples, inventory, and lab areas clean, organized, and space-efficient.
• Build wood and acrylic fixtures for camera and other device testing.
• Set up hardware and software for lab equipment and testing.
• Collect data and run tests, including walk tests in SVL, according to documented procedures.
• Participate in internal testing throughout product development and collaborate with compliance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in engineering, with an electrical or mechanical emphasis.
• At least 3 years of experience in lab setup, management, and improvement.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with electro-mechanical lab equipment, including environmental chambers, vibration testers, shock testers, oscilloscopes, microscopes, Instron systems, strain gauges, and accelerometers.
• Ability to read and interpret simple schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to run tests strictly according to procedures and protocols.
