Laboratory Technician/Service Technician

What you will do

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and failure analysis of prototype hardware, test fixtures, and precision mechanical or electromechanical components.
• Modify, fabricate, assemble, test, evaluate, and program mechanical and electromechanical devices.
• Set up and execute complex laboratory tests, develop and review protocols, analyze data, and prepare test summary reports.
• Interpret intermediate test results and adjust test plans and setups when needed.
• Maintain engineering drawings, detailed engineering notebooks, laboratory files, and reports.
• Manage laboratory operations, including supplies, equipment calibration, maintenance, inventory, shipping, and resource calendars.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Five years of experience in equipment or product development.
• Five years of experience designing and executing benchtop and laboratory experiments.
• Five years of experience operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation, measurement, data acquisition, reporting, data analysis, and processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project; familiarity with CAD packages and 3D solid modeling.
