Production Operator V

Location: Santa Fe Springs, California, United States; onsite at the Dice Road filling industrial facility

Salary: $32.00–$40.00 per hour, plus pay-for-performance bonus

What you will do

• Fill, repackage, and pump compressed and liquefied industrial gases into high-pressure cylinders.
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, chain hoists, and other equipment to load, unload, and move cylinders.
• Inspect, clean, paint, repair, valve, and shot-blast cylinders as needed.
• Perform pre-fill and post-fill inspections, hydro and ultrasonic testing, troubleshooting, and equipment monitoring.
• Maintain accurate fill logs, inventory records, tracking records, load sheets, labels, and cylinder identification tags.
• Report equipment defects, accidents, injuries, and loading issues while maintaining a safety-first workplace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, MSDS, and procedure manuals.
• Basic mathematical, written, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and interact professionally with customers and the public.

Nice to have

• At least one year of related industrial gas experience or relevant training.
• Qualification or certification in filling industrial gases, cryogenics, flammable and non-flammable compressed liquids, specialty gases, or mixed gases.
• Certification to operate hydrostatic and ultrasonic testing equipment.
