Dry Room Operator

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global plant in Newark, Delaware, United States. No travel or relocation assistance is provided.

Starting pay: $24.61 per hour, with potential pay up to $25.21 per hour.

What you will do

• Prepare and set up the wet end of the foam line for production runs according to formulations and production orders.
• Set up chemical modules, assemble mix heads, calibrate chemical streams, and assist with substrate mounting.
• Monitor and adjust foam-casting run parameters as directed by process chemists or line leaders.
• Record substrate lot numbers and production run times.
• Handle chemical waste in compliance with federal and local environmental regulations.
• Follow corporate policies, security standards, and environmental health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from a certified educational institution.
• Up to one year of production experience.
• Ability to work off shifts and overtime.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass hirify.global-required testing as part of the selection process.

• Experience working with chemicals.
• Moderate PC skills and strong math skills.
• Forklift truck and hoist experience.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and collaborate cross-functionally.
