Sr Product Support Engineer (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; office or hybrid environment, with occasional travel.

What you will do

• Provide expert technical support for product and system prototypes.
• Lead product installation, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Diagnose critical technical issues and develop corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and conduct customer needs assessments.
• Lead product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical workshops.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve product support processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; a relevant higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technical support or engineering.
• Strong Tactical Data Link background, including data-flow management and troubleshooting.
• Strong operational TRAX experience and expert diagnostic skills.
• Experience with product installation and testing, wireless networks, tactical communications, computers, and system-level network maintenance.
• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance, current Top Secret with SCI eligibility, and U.S. citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with advanced prototypes, aerospace and defense standards, RF systems, vehicle installation, and communications-sensor integration.
• CompTIA Network+ or comparable technical certification.
• Experience with military units, logistics, government, or the U.S. military.
• Leadership experience and ability to read schematics, service manuals, and test procedures.
