Location: Must live within 45 minutes of the Robert E. Matthews Service Center in Ashland, Kentucky

Salary: $26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and operations for HVAC equipment, emergency generators, and building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Repair and maintain drywall, masonry, painting, ceilings, roofing, tile, carpets, windows, furniture, doors, and other building components.
• Monitor contractors and assist with maintenance, construction, and operations activities while ensuring compliance with contracts, safety, security, environmental, and conduct rules.
• Perform housekeeping, snow removal, storm damage cleanup, lawn maintenance, spill cleanup, inventory management, and emergency call-out work.
• Procure parts and materials, maintain inspection records, and submit required reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Must live within 45 minutes of the Ashland, Kentucky service center.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, evenings, emergency call-outs, and occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather and lift, move, and carry equipment weighing more than 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Electrician or HVAC license, or CFC refrigerant certification.
• Willingness to pursue relevant certification.
