Radiation Therapist (Radiation Oncology)

Location: Campbell, California, United States; onsite office-based schedule, 8am–4pm

Salary: RTT I $49.81–$67.24; RTT II $48.85–$79.94; Senior RTT $54.78–$89.64. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Silicon Valley Oncology provides cancer care through a radiation oncology team in Campbell, California.

What you will do

• Administer and accurately record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of radiation oncologists and the chief radiation therapist.
• Position radiation beams to match designated tumor volumes and deliver prescribed doses accurately.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record.
• Interpret computerized treatment plans and complete simple MU calculations.
• Cut radiation blocks and create custom molds when applicable.
• Support patient scheduling, billing accuracy, clinical instruction, and a clean and safe treatment environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification and a valid state radiation therapy license are required.
• Radiation Therapist I: 0–3 years of active RTT experience.
• Radiation Therapist II: at least 3 years of active RTT experience.
• Senior Radiation Therapist: at least 7 years of active RTT experience.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds and meet the stated vision, hearing, standing, walking, and reaching requirements.
