What you will do

• Administer and accurately document radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Position radiation beams to match designated tumor volumes and deliver prescribed doses accurately.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record.
• Interpret computerized treatment plans and complete simple MU calculations.
• Cut radiation blocks and create custom molds when applicable.
• Support appointment scheduling, billing accuracy, clinical instruction, and a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Valid state license for radiation therapy is required.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds.
• Vision and hearing corrected to normal ranges.
