Senior Privileged Access Management Engineer (Cyber Security Engineer) (CyberArk)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States; 70% in-office work model

Salary: $145,900–$234,200 per year, with potential bonus, incentive compensation, or equity.

What you will do

• Own and serve as the engineering subject matter expert for the CyberArk-based Privileged Access Management program.
• Configure, administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize CyberArk Privileged Cloud and related components.
• Design and assess integrations for applications, services, infrastructure, and secret management technologies including Credential Provider, Secrets Hub, and Conjur.
• Lead privileged account onboarding and collaborate with application owners, DevOps, infrastructure, cybersecurity, governance, and business stakeholders.
• Create architecture documentation, implementation plans, technical standards, solution designs, end-user documentation, and training materials.
• Support continuous improvement, disaster recovery, capacity management, performance monitoring, high availability, compliance, emergency incidents, and planned maintenance, including 24x7 support when necessary.

Requirements

• Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Mathematics background preferred.
• 8+ years of technology experience, including 4–6+ years in identity and access management.
• 3+ years of hands-on CyberArk and Privileged Cloud experience, including account and safe management, administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies and CyberArk secret management technologies such as Credential Provider, Secrets Hub, and Conjur.
• Proficiency in English is required for global collaboration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of JIT, least privilege, dynamic privilege, AWS, Azure or GCP, Windows, Unix, PowerShell, CI/CD, REST APIs, and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with security and information security architecture frameworks, GxP environments, and regulatory requirements.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CyberArk certification.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
