Senior Associate, Security Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid work with up to 2 remote days per week

Salary: $99,300–$169,600 per year, plus a 6%–10% annual discretionary incentive range.

What you will do

• Provide 24x7 operational support for privileged access management solutions, including CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, PKI, hot fixes, troubleshooting, break-fixes, secrets lifecycle management, and end-user support.
• Maintain the operational integrity of privileged access infrastructure through patching, version control, upgrades, and alignment with security standards.
• Implement platform enhancements, automated integrations, and user-experience improvements.
• Troubleshoot and remediate functional and technical issues, escalating complex architecture and design matters when required.
• Support AI-based security capabilities and collaborate with cross-functional teams on cybersecurity challenges.

Requirements

• Experience in security operations, development, engineering, or architecture.
• Experience supporting privileged access management and access-control programs.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization systems, including Active Directory, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, AWS IAM, Kubernetes, LDAPS, Kerberos, and certificates.
• Working knowledge of cloud ecosystems and CI/CD deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with CyberArk self-hosted components, HashiCorp Vault, ADCS, HSMs, or PKI.
• Professional or personal experience using AI coding agents such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Gemini CLI.
