Project Manager (Civil Construction)

Location: Lorton, Virginia, with projects across Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC; applicants must be authorized to work in the US full-time.

Salary: $95,000–$140,000 annually.

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, supervise, and coordinate civil construction projects.
• Manage project deadlines, budgets, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Supervise engineers, interns, and other project team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and requirements.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers and coworkers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related computer programs.
• Leadership abilities and a collaborative approach.
• High school diploma or equivalent, authorization to work full-time in the US, and successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug screening.
