TL;DR
Full Stack AI Engineer (AI, React, Python, Databricks): Building enterprise-grade applications that operationalize analytical models, machine learning models, and Gen AI solutions across ingestion pipelines, backend APIs, front-end applications, and AI-powered features with an accent on full-stack architecture, data integration, and production AI capabilities. Focus on building RAG pipelines and agentic workflows, integrating LLMs and Databricks Lakehouse data, and ensuring scalable, secure, observable delivery through CI/CD and automated testing.
Location: Houston or Austin, Texas. Remote work is available, but associates working more than 50 miles from an office are expected to be onsite at least 4 days per month. The position may also be performed in-office and requires 20%–30% travel.

What you will do
- Design and build end-to-end AI-enabled applications spanning front-end, backend, and data layers.
- Develop web applications, RESTful APIs, dashboards, workflows, and self-service analytics tools using React, Angular, and Python backends.
- Build ingestion pipelines, ETL workflows, and integrations with Databricks Lakehouse, feature stores, data sources, and ML model endpoints.
- Develop and deploy RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, semantic search, document understanding, conversational interfaces, and automated workflows.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Augment Code while maintaining code quality and engineering standards.
- Implement CI/CD, automated testing, observability, monitoring, security, and reliability practices for production systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience building production-grade software applications.
- Strong full-stack development experience, including frontend and backend development, RESTful APIs, and data-intensive applications.
- Experience with React, Angular, or Next and active day-to-day use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Augment Code.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong product thinking, collaboration, communication, engineering discipline, and ability to work across multiple layers of the stack.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating LLMs, RAG pipelines, or AI APIs into production applications.
- Experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, AWS or Azure, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud-native deployments.
- Experience working in agile or Scrum delivery models with cross-functional teams.
