Sr Business Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; employees work in the office at least four days per week and may work from home one day per week.

Base salary: $81,700–$102,000 per year, with potential variable compensation through bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Analyze complex business issues using data from multiple sources, statistical analysis, modeling, and quantitative techniques.
• Support projects from design through implementation and monitoring.
• Coordinate with business teams, utility functions, external parties, and clients to achieve business objectives.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate quantitative and qualitative reports, including routine and ad hoc reporting.
• Present analytical results, recommendations, action plans, and priorities to business and partner stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using statistical analysis, modeling, and related technology applications.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of business operations and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake, AWS Athena, or cloud-based data lake environments.
• Background in insurance, annuities, wholesaling, or financial services.
• Experience defining and evolving business metrics with leadership.
• Familiarity with BI and analytics best practices, data validation, and metric governance.
