Pilot - Deployed (UAS)

Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona — Fort Huachuca; onsite duties with shift work, austere deployments, and 50% travel that may increase to 100%. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret DoD security clearance are required.

What you will do

• Safely and efficiently operate group 4 and larger unmanned aircraft systems.
• Serve as Pilot-In-Command and support daily flight operations.
• Follow and enforce flight, ground, training, standardization, airworthiness, and safety procedures.
• Maintain certifications, proficiency, readiness requirements, aircraft logbooks, and operational paperwork.
• Support internal audits and performance reviews, and track operational data for managers and engineering.
• Work fluctuating schedules, including shifts, extended outdoor duties, and deployed assignments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience operating group 4 or larger UAS and at least 100 PIC flight hours.
• FAA Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, and current FAA Class 2 medical certification maintained annually.
• Thorough knowledge of unmanned aircraft procedures, aircraft components, RF systems, troubleshooting, and flight safety.
• Familiarity with FAA, ICAO, DoD, and DCMA procedures, reporting, airworthiness, and government contract property requirements.
• Active Secret DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship required; must meet CONUS or OCONUS duty requirements.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, learn new UAS and technical manuals, use Microsoft Office, and complete critical operational documentation.
