Pilot (Deployed Only)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; requires deployment to various OCONUS operating locations on an approximate 60/30 rotation.

What you will do

• Operate and navigate a variety of aircraft in complex operational scenarios.
• Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections and maintain flight logs and mission reports.
• Perform casualty evacuation, maritime patrol, experimental test flights, special mission training, and fighter aircraft training missions.
• Coordinate mission planning and execution with ground crews and other personnel.
• Monitor weather and operational variables, adjusting flight plans as needed.
• Execute emergency procedures and support pilot training and mentorship.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience and 1,500 total fixed-wing flight hours as pilot-in-command in multi-engine turboprop or jet aircraft with GTOW of 12,500 or greater.
• Commercial Pilot License with unrestricted instrument and multi-engine ratings, FAA Class II Medical Certificate, and knowledge of aviation safety regulations.
• Current active Secret U.S. security clearance is required on the first day of employment; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Current valid U.S. passport and ability to obtain visas for international travel are required.
• Ability to pass FAA/Military Pilot background checks, drug and alcohol screening, pre-deployment medical assessment, and current DoD and Combatant Command requirements.
• Willingness and ability to deploy OCONUS for extended periods and work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules.

Nice to have

• Military flight training, ISR, Dash 8, or prior OCONUS experience.
• Leadership experience in combat or operational missions.
• Airline Transport Pilot certification or a related advanced degree.
• Experience with experimental aircraft systems or U.S. military survival and physiological training.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and recent mission completion or prior military service.
