Senior Pilot (Deployed Only) (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead and execute complex flight missions across diverse operational environments.
• Supervise and mentor junior pilots and support their professional development.
• Conduct casualty evacuation, maritime patrol, experimental test flights, and special mission training.
• Plan missions, assess risks, coordinate mission-critical communications, and maintain deployment readiness.
• Enforce aviation safety and regulatory compliance and review flight data and mission outcomes.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support operational planning.

Requirements

• At least 3,000 total flight hours, including 1,500 hours of fixed-wing PIC time in multi-engine turboprop or jet aircraft, or a combination, with GTOW of 12,500 or greater.
• Commercial Pilot License with unrestricted instrument and multi-engine ratings and an FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Active Secret U.S. security clearance is required on the first day of employment; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Current and valid U.S. passport, ability to obtain international travel visas, and ability to meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.
• Willingness to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/30 rotation and pass pre-deployment medical, background, drug, and alcohol screening.
• Ability to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules; fixed-wing experience must be listed by airframe on the resume.

Nice to have

• Military flight training, ISR, OCONUS, Dash 8, combat mission, or experimental aircraft experience.
• Airline Transport Pilot certification.
• Advanced degree or bachelor's degree in aviation, aerospace, or a related field.
• U.S. military survival or physiological training and recent mission completion or prior service.
