Discovery Analyst (Legal Technology)

What you will do

• Support all phases of the electronic discovery lifecycle in collaboration with senior discovery analysts, project managers, attorneys, and litigation support staff.
• Process, load, validate, import, export, and maintain client data in Axcelerate and other eDiscovery review platforms.
• Perform quality control checks covering metadata, document counts, searchable text, imaging, load files, and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot loading issues, investigate processing exceptions, and escalate complex technical problems.
• Manage data inventories, chain-of-custody records, workspace configurations, user access, and workflow documentation.
• Create and deliver production sets containing native files, images, load files, and metadata in accordance with client and court requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, legal technology, or a related technical role.
• Experience with Axcelerate or another enterprise eDiscovery platform such as Relativity, Everlaw, Reveal, DISCO, or Nuix Discover.
• Knowledge of litigation support load files, including DAT, OPT, LFP, and CSV, along with image and native file formats.
• Understanding of collection, processing, review, production, metadata, OCR, document families, deduplication, and quality control workflows.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a law firm or legal services environment.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, SQL, Python, or similar scripting and data manipulation tools.
