Litigation Paralegal

Location: Orange County office, United States

Annual compensation: $90,000–$120,000, depending on qualifications and operational considerations.

What you will do

• Support attorneys and paralegal staff through litigation from case initiation through trial and appeals.
• Prepare court filings, appellate records, appendices, charts, indices, and case and briefing binders.
• Coordinate discovery, including document collection, organization, review, production, and related database work.
• Assist with depositions, interviews, oral arguments, trials, arbitrations, and related travel arrangements.
• Manage case deadlines, dockets, timekeeping reports, vendors, and day-to-day litigation administration.
• Proofread and cite-check briefs and discovery documents using Bluebook standards.

Requirements

• Trial experience is required.
• At least five years of relevant experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Ability to support complex litigation matters from beginning to end while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in California state and U.S. federal court procedures, common litigation practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in LexisNexis, Westlaw, iManage, Relativity, Opus 2, CaseMap, Microsoft Office, and Adobe.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and substantive paralegal experience; applicable state certifications or qualifications must be met.
