Senior Project Manager (Civil Construction)

Location: Richmond, Virginia, with projects in the Greater Richmond, Williamsburg, and Hampton areas; applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, supervise, and coordinate civil construction projects.
• Manage project deadlines, budgets, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Supervise engineers, interns, and other project staff while providing guidance.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety policies and requirements.
• Build effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• At least five years of construction management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related computer programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States and successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
