What you will do
- Partner with Marketing to identify, prioritize, and execute analytical work that improves understanding of customer behavior.
- Develop customer insights using customer databases and other information systems.
- Design and conduct analyses measuring the customer impact of business decisions and marketing campaigns.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses with business teams to identify the root causes of recent trends.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for customer data within Marketing.
- Create presentations that summarize complex analyses and support business decisions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive experience mining large, complex datasets in a corporate marketing discipline.
- Experience using advanced quantitative and modeling techniques.
- Required experience with SQL and/or SAS, including working knowledge of advanced analytics methodologies.
- Experience with Cognos, QlikView, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and visualization tools.
- Very strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and graphics, and strong PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to program in R and Python; working knowledge of Hadoop and other big data technologies is highly desired.
