Occupational Therapist - Inpatient/Hospital - Per Diem

What you will do

• Review medical records, confirm active therapy orders, and identify evaluation priorities, contraindications, and precautions.
• Evaluate patients and develop prioritized treatment plans with short- and long-term rehabilitation goals.
• Implement treatments, reassess patients, update care plans, and communicate with referring providers and other clinicians.
• Establish discharge plans and teach patients, families, and caregivers home exercise programs, adaptive devices, orthoses, splints, and other equipment strategies.
• Supervise therapy assistants, rehabilitation assistants, and other personnel involved in the rehabilitation plan.
• Participate in clinical development, student instruction, educational presentations, journal clubs, and community outreach.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program with the corresponding entry-level degree.
• Active Occupational Therapist license from the New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Governing Board required.
• CPR certification required, or completion within the first 90 days.
• Previous clinical experience is preferred but not required; recent graduates are eligible.
• Per diem day-shift availability, with variable start times from 7:00–8:30 AM, weekdays as needed, and at least two weekend days per month.
