Sourcing Manager F/M (Carbon Fibers)

Location: France - Dagneux or Les Avenières, near Lyon or Chambéry. Onsite role at a hirify.global manufacturing site.

hirify.global develops and manufactures high-performance composite materials, including carbon fibers, technical fabrics, resins, prepregs, honeycombs, and additive manufacturing parts, with a major focus on aerospace applications.

What you will do

• Lead regional and global cross-functional teams in developing and executing category strategies for direct materials.
• Define sourcing strategies, conduct competitive bidding and should-cost or target-cost analysis, and identify savings and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Negotiate contracts and manage suppliers against cost, quality, delivery, sustainability, and other KPIs.
• Develop risk management, multi-sourcing, alternative supply, and new-material strategies for assigned categories.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, preferred supplier lists, contracts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support supplier quality improvement, plant supply chain performance, and make-versus-buy decisions.

Requirements

• University degree in business, economics, engineering, or chemistry.
• CIPS or equivalent purchasing qualification and at least 7 years of purchasing experience.
• Market knowledge of carbon and specialty fibers, with a technical background in fibers and fabric reinforcements.
• Proven experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies and driving change in a strategic sourcing environment.
• Supplier audit experience, strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a matrix organization.
• Fluent English required.
