Supply Chain & Quality Manager Forging (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Manage supplier performance, portfolio metrics, operational capacity, rate capability, and supply chain risks.
• Lead cross-supplier responses to non-conformities and safety issues.
• Define Supplier Quality Improvement Plans, quality approvals, audits, and compliance assessments.
• Lead strategic cross-program initiatives and validate Call for Tender inputs.
• Assign Supply Chain & Quality ratings for supplier selection.
• Coach fellow Supply Chain & Quality Managers and act as the focal point for the Wichita Sparrow supply chain.

Requirements

• Professional experience in supply chain, quality management, or procurement within complex aerospace or industrial sectors.
• Technical expertise in supply chain and quality principles, industrial processes, metallic materials, and forging.
• Experience with de-risking methodologies and complex, recurring supplier issues.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to implement systemic corrective actions.
• Leadership capability to build consensus and drive action across multifunctional teams without direct authority.
• Strategic mindset, high autonomy, and the ability to synthesize complex data into long-term strategies.
