Director of Property Management

What you will do

• Oversee leasing, marketing, facilities, building administration, collections, and resident experience across two student housing properties.
• Develop measurable operating strategies and action plans while monitoring portfolio performance against budget, revenue, expenses, and vendor costs.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, coach, train, and develop property teams, including conducting performance evaluations and supporting succession planning.
• Oversee maintenance standards, work order completion, preventive maintenance, curb appeal, key control, and capital improvement recommendations.
• Resolve escalated resident concerns, attend resident events, and maintain effective communication with university partners.
• Collaborate with Regional Leadership, Human Resources, Facilities, and Retail support teams to remove operational roadblocks and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in student housing, multifamily housing, property management, or a similar industry.
• Experience leading teams and managing operational performance across leasing, marketing, and facilities functions.
• Skills in customer service, facility management, budgeting, business administration, supervision, and public relations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and demonstrated leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a relevant field preferred.
