What you will do

• Assist the Principal Investigator with planning and implementing assigned clinical research studies.
• Recruit, interview, and follow up with study participants; assess eligibility and obtain informed consent.
• Abstract source documents, complete case report forms, enter data, and coordinate resolution of data queries.
• Maintain regulatory binders, study records, supplies, and documentation; support IRB submissions and reviews.
• Arrange protocol-required tests and procedures, perform appropriate measurements such as EKGs and walk tests, and complete basic laboratory activities.
• Monitor adverse events and protocol compliance, report issues to the investigator and sponsor, and participate in sponsor site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma or equivalent plus four years of related experience.
• Strong organization, data collection and analysis, record-keeping, computer, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under close supervision at an entry level.
• Compliance with human-subject protections, HIPAA regulations, FDA Good Clinical Practice Guidelines, and institutional policies.
• Basic Life Support certification may be required depending on the role’s specific requirements.

• Two years of research-related experience.

• Bilingual or Spanish-speaking ability.
