Focus on monitoring patient safety, reviewing adverse events and protocol compliance, maintaining regulatory records, and supporting audits and staff education.

Location: Eugene, Oregon, United States; full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary: $27.68–$70.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Screen potential patients for clinical trial eligibility and present study concepts and details.
  • Participate in informed consent and enroll eligible patients on study protocols.
  • Coordinate patient care, monitor protocol compliance, and document changes in condition, adverse events, medications, and treatment response.
  • Disburse investigational drugs when required, provide patient education, and maintain drug accountability records.
  • Collect, enter, document, and report clinical research data accurately and on time.
  • Maintain regulatory documents and support monitoring, audits, training, clinic staff education, and study selection activities.

Requirements

  • RN license in Oregon is required.
  • Two to three years of experience in a clinical or scientific discipline, preferably in oncology.
  • Associate’s degree in a clinical or scientific discipline desired; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA, OSHA, CDC, federal, state, and professional regulatory standards.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including extended standing and walking and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.

Nice to have

  • Clinical research or oncology research experience.
  • EMR experience.
  • SoCRA or ACRP certification.
