Dir- Facility Planning & Analytics (Facility Planning and Interior Design): Leading campus facility planning, interior design, furniture, signage, art, and space utilization initiatives with an accent on long-term planning, analytics, budgets, and institutional standards. Focus on coordinating complex facilities projects, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and developing teams and operational capabilities.

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; full-time, onsite role

Salary: $114,400–$216,320 per year

What you will do

  • Direct campus interior design, furniture planning, signage, move management, and art program initiatives.
  • Lead facility planning, space utilization, and analytics strategies supporting organizational growth and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and enforce campus design standards, space planning guidelines, and workplace aesthetics.
  • Partner with leadership, departments, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders on strategic planning and project execution.
  • Lead complex, long-term facilities planning projects, including schedules, resources, contingencies, and budgets.
  • Coach and develop staff through performance management, training, mentoring, and career development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in planning, design, and administration within construction or a related industry.
  • At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience overseeing multiple areas across design, construction, planning, or a comparable function.
  • Experience with operational management, budget planning, stakeholder management, and resource management.
  • Strong critical thinking, structured problem-solving, decision-making, analytics, and team leadership skills.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree.
  • Connections with peers, emerging technology communities, and expert networks.
  • Experience identifying trends and best practices in the planning and design industry.
