Staff Engineer II - M365/SharePoint Engineer

What you will do

• Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 administration, collaboration, governance, and compliance solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Support SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Viva Engage, Stream, Viva, Microsoft Purview, and related Microsoft 365 services.
• Monitor the environment through Microsoft Admin Center and resolve incidents and service requests in line with SLA standards.
• Create and maintain SharePoint sites, Teams, channels, approved applications, knowledge-base articles, and governance procedures.
• Drive remediation of security assessments and governance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Seven years of overall IT experience, including four to seven years working with Microsoft identity technologies.
• Proven experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, data governance, data classification, labeling, and metadata management.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, security, compliance, cloud security best practices, and applicable financial-services regulations.
• Scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and REST APIs; experience with Azure DevOps and pipeline development.
• Advanced communication skills and experience leading cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Purview certifications.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial services or banking.
