Planner III (Global Supply Chain)

Location: On-site in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with travel between the Marlborough, Massachusetts location and occasional international travel.

What you will do

• Develop and manage site manufacturing plans aligned with production capacity, material availability, and customer requirements.
• Manage inventory, stockroom, shipping, and receiving activities, including cycle counts and inventory accuracy reporting.
• Supervise stockroom, shipping, and receiving personnel and train manufacturing staff on ERP/MRP transactions and material documentation.
• Use ERP/MRP systems to manage manufacturing jobs, material requirements, kitting, backflushing, serialization, and inventory transactions.
• Analyze production schedules, inventory, material requirements, and shipping performance to identify constraints and improvement opportunities.
• Lead and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives focused on reducing costs, shortening lead times, increasing efficiency, eliminating waste, and supporting on-time shipment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management, materials planning, production planning, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; experience with Infor Visual or SyteLine is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with production planning, inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
