Manager, Data Product Management & Governance

Location: Fully onsite in Raritan or New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States; up to 10% domestic and international travel may be required.

Base pay range: $102,000–$155,771 per year.

What you will do

• Support the delivery, adoption, and governance of data products across MedTech Digital Solutions.
• Define governance practices covering ownership, stewardship, controls, metadata, and product lifecycle management.
• Collect, clarify, and prioritize data needs, translating business outcomes into requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery documentation.
• Maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata standards, and searchable data catalog entries.
• Coordinate data quality expectations with data owners, stewards, and functional partners.
• Develop repeatable operating models, playbooks, governance forums, and communications with business, technology, privacy, legal, regulatory, and records management partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in data analytics, information systems, business administration, computer science, engineering, life sciences, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data product management, data governance, data stewardship, analytics, business analysis, or enterprise data enablement.
• Experience with data catalogs, business glossaries, metadata management, data quality practices, requirements documentation, and multifunctional delivery methods.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, prioritization, teamwork, and people-management skills.
• Ability to work fully onsite in New Jersey and travel up to 10% as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated environment such as MedTech, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or another highly governed industry.
• Advanced degree or familiarity with Alation, Collibra, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or related platforms.
