Product Manager, Data

What you will do

• Lead product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for data and reporting applications serving internal and external users.
• Build partnerships with business leaders to identify pain points, opportunities, and measurable outcomes.
• Maintain an 18-month roadmap and a ready backlog covering at least six months.
• Develop business cases with clear ROI, scope, value, and prioritization recommendations.
• Own requirements clarity, backlog prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and progress reporting across initiatives.
• Balance feature delivery with reliability, scalability, modernization, and other technical investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of product management experience in Agile environments and at least 3 years driving data engineering and reporting initiatives.
• Practical experience with Scrum or Kanban and Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of modern data stacks, reporting and visualization tools, data modeling, data ingestion, ML modeling, and data governance.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft data stack; Microsoft Fabric and Power BI experience is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with insurance industry data, including claims, premiums, and bordereaux files.
• Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools such as Copilot.
