What you will do

• Lead the architecture and long-term technical roadmap for the Compliance and KYC platform.
• Transition legacy systems into a modern, distributed microservices architecture.
• Drive technical excellence and make critical architectural decisions for high-scale systems.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate complex global regulations into developer-first APIs.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers while fostering a culture of technical curiosity.
• Utilize AI coding assistants to automate boilerplate and improve test coverage.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in designing high-scale, secure, cloud-native distributed systems.
• Expert proficiency in Java or Go.
• Deep knowledge of AWS ecosystems (Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, Kafka).
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to accelerate software delivery.
• Proven ability to influence technical strategy across multiple teams.
• Must be based in the USA.
